Job Description:
Ambit Software is looking for a talented .NET Developer to join our team in Pune. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using .NET technologies. While prior Sitecore experience is not required, the ideal candidate should be open to learning and working with Sitecore CMS. We will provide training to help you get up to speed with Sitecore and related tools. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain .NET-based applications and customizations.
- Implement Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) for rapid site development (training provided).
- Work with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API to build efficient and scalable backend solutions.
- Integrate dynamic, data-driven content into web applications.
- Work with frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Optimize SQL Server queries and work with relational databases for data storage.
- Implement RESTful APIs for integration with third-party systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement processes.
Core Competencies and Technical Expertise:
- 1-2 years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, MVC).
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database integration.
- Exposure to version control systems such as Git or TFS.
- Enthusiastic about learning new technologies (including Sitecore CMS).
